CyberGhost makes it clear that some information is kept, but only in order to keep your service running. It also resides outside of 5 Eyes, 9 Eyes, and 14 Eyes intelligence alliances. Operating out of Bucharest, Romania, CyberGhost has no legal obligation to log user activity. To help keep your browsing private, CyberGhost includes an automatic kill switch that cuts your internet connection if the VPN goes down, as well as DNS leak protection.Ī VPN's log-keeping policy should be a top concern when shopping around, and CyberGhost scores well. In any case, you should feel secure with the level of encryption from CyberGhost. That's basically the norm these days, though some VPN providers up things to an 8,192-bit key. You get 256-bit AES encryption with a 4,096-bit key for exchanges. Privacy and securityĬyberGhost offers OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec, IKEv2, WireGuard, and PPTP protocols to connect, which helps open it up to so many different devices. If you're in even more immediate need of assistance, there are a bunch of pre-written articles available. I then turned to the live chat option, and it only took about a minute to begin the support process. Both platforms offer an ad blocker, data compression tool, Wi-Fi protection, and tracker blocker, but if you want to go deeper with exceptions, kill switch, and VPN protocols, you'll want to stick with the desktop app. While you're going to be able to set up a connection on either, the desktop app understandably allows for a lot more tweaking. I primarily tested CyberGhost with the Windows 10 and Android apps. This is great for something like having your default browser open in incognito mode, for example. Dedicated IP addresses are available for those who need them, for example, anyone who can't have a new IP address each time they connect to a VPN server.Ī unique feature that works well is the ability to automatically launch a particular app, on opening. It can be used on up to seven devices at once, plus you can configure a router with CyberGhost VPN for a blanketed approach that essentially removes the per-device limit. ![]() Thanks to compatibility with plenty of platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and Apple TV, CyberGhost should fit the needs of most homes. This works well with streaming platforms with the ability to unblock the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ without any issues. You're free to switch between servers as much as you want, and you won't be held to a maximum amount of traffic. CyberGhost does not limit bandwidth, nor does it put a cap on data. Many servers are dedicated to peer-to-peer (P2P) sharing and torrenting, while others are dedicated to streaming on popular services, like YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and more. Some are hosted physically within those countries, while others are hosted virtually. At the time of writing this review, there are 7,005 servers in 110 locations, spread out over 88 countries. Mail forwarding also provides flexibility and convenience by centralizing your mail management. If you sign up for the USPS’s Premium Forwarding Service ( PFS-Residential Service), you can even have your mail combined into a single weekly shipment. Your mail will be securely redirected to your new address or a designated location, allowing you to stay connected. First, it ensures that you don’t miss any important mail during your move or while you’re away. Using a mail forwarding service offers several benefits. Standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months by default, but you can extend it beyond that or cancel it early. According to the USPS, mail forwarding may begin within three business days but could take up to two weeks. Regardless of the reason or duration, be sure to submit your USPS mail forwarding request at least two days before your desired move date. To verify your identity in person, bring a valid photo ID and a secondary form of ID that lists your name and your old or new address, such as a vehicle registration card or lease. If for some reason this online identity verification is not successful, you will be directed to your local post office. The billing address for your card must match either your old or new address to verify your identity. This involves a one-time passcode or verification link sent to your cell phone and a $1.10 fee, payable via credit or debit card. The USPS uses a multifactor identity verification process for online submissions. To file online, you will need to provide a valid email address. You will also need to provide your name, contact information, and the start date for your mail forwarding. You will be asked whether the change of address is for an individual, family, or business and whether the relocation is temporary or permanent. Step 2: Complete a Change-of-Address Formįill out the USPS change-of-address form. Note that online submission is not available for international addresses. For the latter, simply follow the instructions and prompts on the webpage. ![]() For example, a secretary who reads a book while waiting for dictation or a fireman who plays checkers while waiting for an alarm is working during such periods of inactivity. Generally, the facts may show that the employee was engaged to wait (which is work time) or the facts may show that the employee was waiting to be engaged (which is not work time). Whether waiting time is hours worked under the Act depends upon the particular circumstances. The hours are work time and are compensable. For example, an employee may voluntarily continue to work at the end of the shift to finish an assigned task or to correct errors. Application of PrinciplesĮmployees "Suffered or Permitted" to work: Work not requested but suffered or permitted to be performed is work time that must be paid for by the employer. The workday may therefore be longer than the employee's scheduled shift, hours, tour of duty, or production line time. "Workday", in general, means the period between the time on any particular day when such employee commences his/her "principal activity" and the time on that day at which he/she ceases such principal activity or activities. Definition of "Employ"īy statutory definition the term "employ" includes "to suffer or permit to work." The workweek ordinarily includes all time during which an employee is necessarily required to be on the employer's premises, on duty or at a prescribed work place. The amount employees should receive cannot be determined without knowing the number of hours worked. The Act requires that employees must receive at least the minimum wage and may not be employed for more than 40 hours in a week without receiving at least one and one-half times their regular rates of pay for the overtime hours. ![]() This fact sheet provides general information concerning what constitutes compensable time under the FLSA. ![]() Berzelius (1779-1848), a Swedish chemist, was the first to use the present way of classification: a one- or two-letter symbol for each element. It wasn’t until the nineteenth century that the meaning of a compound could be distinguished from that of a combination. Prior to the 1800s, the term compound might also refer to a mixture. Henry Moseley’s research provides the most up-to-date definition of an element.ĭespite the fact that several of Lavoisier’s “elements” were later discovered to be compounds, his list laid the groundwork for the adoption of standard names and symbols for the numerous elements. Lavoisier was the first to create a list of chemical elements, and Mendeleev was the first to arrange elements in the Periodic Table according to their atomic number. Among these are the works of Robert Boyle (1627-1691), Antoine Lavoisier (1743-1794), and Dmitri Mendeleev (1834-1907). Several more theories have emerged over the years. Aristotle (384-322 B.C.), a student of Plato, proposed a new fifth element called ‘quintessence,’ which he claimed constituted the skies. These four “roots” were referred to as stoicheia components by Plato (c. 495-435 B.C.) suggested that all materials have four basic “roots”: earth, air, fire, and water. History of Elements and CompoundsĮlements were formerly used to refer to any condition of matter, such as liquid, gas, air, or solid. What are Elements and Compounds?Īn element is a pure substance which consists of identical atoms or molecules with only one core of an atom.Ī compound is a pure substance which consists of identical atoms or molecules with two or more different types of atomic core bound together. Elements and compounds are pure chemical substances found in nature. Elements, compounds, and mixtures are the three types of matter. ![]() It is consequently critical to classify and categorize them in order to study, analyze, and comprehend their qualities. What we're going to do next is inject A specially-designed adhesive. It's important after you finish using the sprayer to run clean water through it so it doesn't clog up and you only get one use out of it. Now, we're going to put conditioner on this side as well. Okay, now I'm going to take back to stream and into the holes. Okay, we'll let that conditioner set up before we put plaster on it. While I have the conditioner Out, I'm going to take and spray down the lath and the edges of the raw plaster, which helps seal it and helps the new patching plaster that I put in bond to the old stuff and to the lath. Okay, what you do is you put on spray … and you put that tip right up to the hole and you spray in. What it does is it gives the adhesive a good surface to bond to. ![]() This is a conditioner that's a very important step in this whole process. It's important to get as much dust out of there as you can, so that's why we vacuumed the holes. When you drill through the plaster, then it stops. This is a 3/16-inch masonry bit, will not dull as it goes through the plaster, but it will not drill through the wood lath. It's important the type of type of bit that we use to drill these holes. What we're going to do is we're going to reattach the plaster to every lath. So, because of that you can see how loose it is. The plaster is loose all the way around, because when they cut this off with a reciprocating saw, it jiggled all the plaster and that's what made it fall off. It doesn't take much to get these keys out of here, but they’ve got to be gone for the plaster to attach. Now that we have that lath in there, we're going to clean out this is key right there, and then we're going to do the adhesive work around the edge. So, I'm going to back off a little bit so I can get plaster in behind it. Oh boy, that tightens it up real nice right there, real nice. I'm going to stick this in here and do a couple things: I'm going to attach it to this piece of framing here, and I'm going to try to attach this this duct to it as well. Okay, I'm going to cut this to, say, 14-1/2 inches. But that's good because it'll reinforce everything. So what I'm going to have to do is … glue the lath to the back of this plaster to hold it in place. Unfortunately, when they cut the lath off to put this duct in, they cut it off at the stud, so there's really no way to attach it here. Let's measure up and see what we can do for wood lath in here. I'm going to pre-drill this one so it doesn't split the lath any further. Then we need to stabilize all the plaster around here, and glue that right back to where it was.įirst thing we want to do is to reattach these two pieces of wood. We need to tie this lath down, put another piece of lath in behind here and glue this plaster to it. ![]() Reattaching the Lathįirst thing we do is we want to take the grate off so we can see what we have to do to repair this. There are easy ways to do this and hard ways to do this this has been done the hard way, but we can fix it. Today what we're going to do is we're going to repair what happens when you put a duct through a plaster wall and you don't pay attention to the way it's built. I'm Rory Brennan, owner of Big Wally's Plaster Magic and Preservation Plastering. This time-tested repair method restores the plaster wall to good-as-new condition.īelow is a lightly edited transciption of the audio track. Poking holes in plaster walls can leave bare lath flapping and loosens the plaster surrounding the opening. ![]() The top speed of the two-wheel drive Traxxas Slash with a brushed motor is 30 miles per hour. I don’t think the price should be a deciding factor when comparing the two cars. Please note, prices may vary.įor the four-wheel drive VXL Rustler, the Rustler and the Slash are similar in price. For the two-wheel drive brushed motor configuration, the Traxxas Slash is usually around $175 to $225, and the Traxxas Rustler is around $180. The Traxxas Slash is more expensive than the Rustler, but not by much. Which is more Expensive, the Traxxas Slash or Rustler? 4×4 models have increased maintenance costs.Close enough to the 249mm I was going for to call it good. The result is 254mm of overall width with tires on. In the end I used 4×4 Slash wheel hexes with 2wd Slash front wheels on all four corners. Switching the wheel hex to the wider 2wd Slash front wheel hex (3654) helped, but it was still touching the shock (barely). These also rubbed the shocks at full lock. The next level of wheel offset was the 4×4/2wd rear wheels. Luckily I have a 2wd Slash on hand to facilitate some testing. They rubbed on the suspension and limited steering angle. Using Pro-Trac wheels like on the Ultimate RC Chimera-B were not going to work with the short Bandit arms. Crawlers need maximum steering angle for tight turns and I didn’t want to lose even one degree – especially considering the Slash wasn’t built with crawling in mind. Keeping the front wheels/tires from rubbing the shocks at full lock was tricky. Team Associated 3x48mm Turnbuckles (91723).Team Associated 3x45mm Turnbuckles (4404).These ones are from popular models, so there’s a good chance your local hobby shop will have one: I used a turnbuckle from TLR that I found at my local track, but any 3mm x 45-48mm turnbuckle will do. I reinstalled them into the forward most hole on the steering blocks for maximum turning angle. ![]() ![]() So I opted to retain the stock rod ends and install them on a shorter (3x45mm) turnbuckle. Also the rod ends are specific to the Slash steering bell crank and steering blocks. The steering turnbuckles are thinner than the suspension camber links – 3mm instead of 4mm. A bag of 3x15mm button-head screws (2579) should cover you, or you can pick some up at the hardware store. You’ll also want to buy some extra hardware to mount them as the screws for the Brushed Slash 4×4’s non-adjustable, plastic camber links are different. Here you can see before & after: Turnbucklesįor the camber links, I used Bandit turnbuckles (2443), two sets for front and rear. I cut 20mm from both halves, using a pipe cutter worked nice and kept a clean edge. Not to worry – there’s a cheaper and easier solution: cut the stock Slash 4×4 telescoping driveshafts. This would mean also switching to Bandit diff output yokes and stub axles – the latter of which I wasn’t sure was going to fit in the Slash 4×4 bearing carriers. RC Driver explains and shows it very nicely here: ![]() I planned on switching to Bandit axles, but it turns out the cross pins on the Bandit universal joints are smaller diameter than what comes on a Slash. I used a Dremel and two attachments to make these changes: a 409 Cut-Off wheel and a 430 Sanding Drum. You can see here how it dips below the caster block support: Removing the forward arm link material allowed the suspension to droop much further without binding. I also used a sanding drum to remove some material from the top of the forward arm link so it wouldn’t rub inside the caster block. I trimmed off much of the bridging near the wheel side of the suspension arm using a cut-off wheel, leaving just a small amount. If you’ve got the aluminum 6832X caster blocks you may not need to trim as much – as always, your mileage may vary. To get the bandit arms to fit in the Slash 4×4 front caster blocks (6832) and retain full suspension travel, I had to cut and trim some things. Here you can see two sets of Bandit arms compared to the original Brushed 4×4 Slash arms: So we have some width we can add if need be. Just by making this switch we’re going to remove 50mm of overall width, bringing it from 296mm wide to potentially 246mm – less than the goal of 249mm. If you’ve got more arm lengths to add to that list, please comment below.īandit arms are 67mm wide, while the stock Slash 4×4 arms are 92mm. As part of my research I gathered a list of several Slash-compatible arms and their lengths. The arms are going to be the single biggest difference maker when it comes to overall width. ![]() ![]() Tables Zebra Striped Table Center Tables Full-width Table Nested Table Side-by-side Tables Responsive Tables Comparison Table Images Slideshow Slideshow Gallery Modal Images Lightbox Responsive Image Grid Image Grid Image Gallery Scrollable Image Gallery Tab Gallery Image Overlay Fade Image Overlay Slide Image Overlay Zoom Image Overlay Title Image Overlay Icon Image Effects Black and White Image Image Text Image Text Blocks Transparent Image Text Full Page Image Form on Image Hero Image Blur Background Image Change Bg on Scroll Side-by-Side Images Rounded Images Avatar Images Responsive Images Center Images Thumbnails Border Around Image Meet the Team Sticky Image Flip an Image Shake an Image Portfolio Gallery Portfolio with Filtering Image Zoom Image Magnifier Glass Image Comparison Slider Faviconīuttons Alert Buttons Outline Buttons Split Buttons Animated Buttons Fading Buttons Button on Image Social Media Buttons Read More Read Less Loading Buttons Download Buttons Pill Buttons Notification Button Icon Buttons Next/prev Buttons More Button in Nav Block Buttons Text Buttons Round Buttons Scroll To Top Buttonįorms Login Form Signup Form Checkout Form Contact Form Social Login Form Register Form Form with Icons Newsletter Stacked Form Responsive Form Popup Form Inline Form Clear Input Field Hide Number Arrows Copy Text to Clipboard Animated Search Search Button Fullscreen Search Input Field in Navbar Login Form in Navbar Custom Checkbox/Radio Custom Select Toggle Switch Check Checkbox Detect Caps Lock Trigger Button on Enter Password Validation Toggle Password Visibility Multiple Step Form Autocomplete Turn off autocomplete Turn off spellcheck File Upload Button Empty Input Validationįilters Filter List Filter Table Filter Elements Filter Dropdown Sort List Sort Table Menus Icon Bar Menu Icon Accordion Tabs Vertical Tabs Tab Headers Full Page Tabs Hover Tabs Top Navigation Responsive Topnav Split Navigation Navbar with Icons Search Menu Search Bar Fixed Sidebar Side Navigation Responsive Sidebar Fullscreen Navigation Off-Canvas Menu Hover Sidenav Buttons Sidebar with Icons Horizontal Scroll Menu Vertical Menu Bottom Navigation Responsive Bottom Nav Bottom Border Nav Links Right Aligned Menu Links Centered Menu Link Equal Width Menu Links Fixed Menu Slide Down Bar on Scroll Hide Navbar on Scroll Shrink Navbar on Scroll Sticky Navbar Navbar on Image Hover Dropdowns Click Dropdowns Cascading Dropdown Dropdown in Topnav Dropdown in Sidenav Resp Navbar Dropdown Subnavigation Menu Dropup Mega Menu Mobile Menu Curtain Menu Collapsed Sidebar Collapsed Sidepanel Pagination Breadcrumbs Button Group Vertical Button Group Sticky Social Bar Pill Navigation Responsive Header To show mouse pointer while recording, you should download the mouse pointer plug-in for VLC, or get a mouse recorder as VLC screen recording alternative.Ĥ.
